Welcome James Choi, Associate Youth Pastor!

CrossRoads Church is excited to be adding another pastor to our team! James Choi will be joining us at the beginning of March as our new Associate Youth Pastor. Under Pastor Rob Mudde’s supervision, he will be primarily responsible for our youth drop-in nights, our affinity groups, and junior high Echo on Sunday mornings. He will also be speaking on a rotating basis between junior and senior high youth.

James comes to us from the Erskine Evangelical Free Church where he has been serving as a youth pastor for four years. He’s been busy running the youth program there–weekly youth, missions trips, leading worship, Sunday school, VBS, kids club and lots more! James graduated from Prairie Bible Institute in 2010 with a degree in youth ministry.

James has been married nearly five years to his beautiful wife Cassie. They have two kids; Jakin who is nearly three and Elsie who just turned one.

James is gifted with lots of energy and enthusiasm. He is a great speaker, and very much has a heart for evangelism. He has a knack for engaging with teens who are not churched. He enjoys sports (mostly volleyball), is into card/board games, and sometimes gets a little too competitive at both.

Take some time to welcome James and his family when you see them around the church!
